Come learn one of the oldest textile arts in the world Naalbinding. Textiles created with this technique have been found the world over and date back to 6500 BCE. Naalbinding, literally “needle binding” in Norwegian, is a yarn looping technique using a single needle. In this class we will learn the basics of Naalbinding to make a hat using the Oslo stitch. No prior experience is required just a good attitude and a will to learn. This class will take place over a couple of weeks so that you can work on your project at home and then come in the next week to ask questions and trouble shoot any problems.
You can purchase the needle from instructor in class. The first part of class will be spent choosing yarn
