Beginning Crochet

Whether you've never held a hook before or you're looking for a solid refresher, our Beginning Crochet workshop at Yarn Over is designed to get you stitching with confidence. Crochet is wonderfully relaxing, versatile, and the perfect introduction to handmade fiber arts.

What you will learn:

• Foundation Skills: How to comfortably hold your hook and yarn, make a slip knot, and master the chain stitch.

• Core Stitches: Learn essential stitches including single crochet,  and double crochet.

• Project Mechanics: How to read your stitches, turn your rows, and troubleshoot simple mistakes along the way.

Class Details:

• Skill Level: Absolute beginner (no prior experience necessary!)

• Age Requirement: 18 and up

• Materials: Starter hook and practice yarn included with your registration fee. More supplies available for purchase in shop
